A brief note about these four tales...and why they have a page of their own.
Authors write in many different ways, but a lot of us are influenced by our moods at the time our fingers hit the keyboard. These four connected stories are very dark (for me, anyway) - Gothic horror with erotic and brutal elements. My mindset at the time was equally dark - all of us go through such periods; it's part of life. So please be warned that you might find the contents disturbing, and also that the series is unfinished...there is one more novel yet to come which will conclude the turbulent state of affairs that exists at the end of book four. I have yet to find the courage to revisit this disturbing Steampunk world I created, but I know I will at some point. I loathe authors who walk away from a series before the end.
